Bye Stella and I Am Feeling The Love Again!

Hello, Dear Ones! I have a lot to say today and I'm hoping you will stay with me.

Bye Stella! :(

First of all I'm having to say goodbye to Stella today. I'm very sad and heartbroken but I know she'll always have a little place in my heart and hopefully I will in hers! The idea of Stitching Stella (this is her true name I've just been calling her the Aida Cloth Paper Doll of Blogland) was thought up by Lindsay-ann and Lorrie! This is just the cutest idea! She's been traveling all over Blogland and in December of this year will go back to England! Here is Stella almost ready to go. She has her passport ready. I will write a page in her passport book about her adventures in Galveston.

Now when she leaves a destination, her hostess is to add something to her dress. Well, if you've been following her adventure with me, you know she sneaked off and got a Henna tattoo! I just couldn't let that pass and decided to put a sweet sparkly tatto heart on her shoulder for a reminder.

Not to worry, with her pretty long hair and the strap from her purse, it's covered very nicely! But we'll all know it's there, won't we? :)
Another addition I'm sending along with Stella is Gally, the little dog she picked out in the pet store. Gally has been constantly at Stella's side and just had to go along with her.

Also, I could not let Stella go off without a souvenir from her Broadway musicals, so she's taking her own Playbill from her performances.

Oh, I must tell you...this Playbill will really be valuable someday! It has a mistake on it! We had to get the info out in such a short amount of time that there's a typo! Stella did seven performances - Monday thru Sunday and this says...Mon. - Fri. Wow! I wonder how much we could get for this on Ebay? Well, hopefully Stella will keep hers.
Bye bye Stella and Gally! I'll miss you so much! Who's going to help me Tablescape and Foodie Friday? Who will sing me songs in the evenings? Well, I guess she'll just have to take these marvelous skills of hers to her next destination!

Where is Stella going next? She's headed to Ohio to visit Kady at Life On The Edge! So make sure you go vist Kady to see what our darling Stella will be doing next!

Gifts For Me?


Hello, Dear Ones! Oh, yes, I'm feeling the love shown to me in Blogland! Isn't it miraculous how we can meet folks from different blogs and just have an immediate connection from the heart? I feel that with so many of you!

I've made that connection with a new blogging friend, Martha at Mid-Atlantic Martha. If you don't know Martha, please go and visit her and tell her I sent you! She's a doll! From the goodness of her heart she sent me a package! See, I told you she was a doll!
Isn't this the most exciting thing ~ receiving a package at the door and it's for you! Well, it wasn't for you, it was for me! ;)
Oh the suspense really gets to me...little white protection puffies! I love these little things!

Look! A precious little vintage apron. Just want I need when I'm slaving away at the hot stove!
There were more gifts! Just the sweetest little embroidered napkins! Oh, they are just the most lovely little dainty things!

Now I must tell you, these wonderful tasting peanuts did not last very long! Mr. Precious and I went to town on them!
Dear Ones, these cherry preserves are the most delicious sweetness you could ever imagine! There are whole cherries in this! I have so enjoyed putting this on my toast or English muffin each morning! Yumminess!

Oh, but Most Dear Ones, this made me cry. Yes, it did! Martha said she saw this little figurine and thought of me! Isn't that sweet? I know I'm drinking from the well that never goes dry!

Oh, Dearest Martha, how can I ever thank you for all of your sweetness to me? I am so thrilled to know you and am amazed that you would send me these precious things! I'll cherish them always!

Remember to always be kind to one another and the love will flow back to you!

    You took very good care of Stella and I am sure she is sorry to leave. I hope she keeps that tatoo hidden in case Kady doesn't approve! The Playbill is wonderful~so she was a hit in Galveston?
