Hi Dear Ones and welcome again to
Tablescape Thursday which is hosted by our Most Charming Diva of Dishes, Susan. Now make sure you visit her blog
Between Naps on the Porch and you will be able to visit all the dish players today! We
Dishaholics thank our Susan for being an enabler to our disease! :)

It seems everyone in the Land of Blog is thinking 'spring'! Well, I didn't want to be left out, so I decorated my table today with lots of
springness.
Aww...feel the soft breezes blowing through the windows? :)

Here is my
tablesetting. Now you know I was going to have to set a table with my little Fashion Plates and being they were oh so full of
springness, I used them today!

My tablecloth and matching napkins are of the sweetest little pale yellow. The color of butter! I was so brilliant today and folded my little napkins in an
accordion style and poked them in these precious little napkin holders with
fruits and flowers of springtime. :) The round place mats are a very soft springy green color.

Sitting atop my little yellow Fashion Plate is a most precious egg cup. I found these little cuties at
JoAnn's fabric store. I bought pale green ones, pale pink ones and creamy colored ones. Notice the beautiful egg. Please don't eat it or you may break a tooth! It's made of clay, but it fit just perfectly in the egg cup - so I just had to use it!

Here's the green egg cup and of course another tooth breaking clay egg. Clay Egg - does that kinda sound like a name you've heard before?
Hmmm...I know! Clay Aiken! That's it! :) Let's move on.

Since this is a breakfast table, I have out all of the coffee cups. But I don't drink the brew! I just drink hot tea! Well, I do drink my most favorite Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, but I'm talking hot drinks at the moment. So you see where I'm sitting, I have a little individual tea pot and cup. Don't you just love these? Can you love little individual tea pots with their very own little cups? You bet your little tea leaves you can! I have a special one here that was given to me by a sweet friend. I played the piano at her wedding. Don't you just love
Chintz ware? Can you...of course you can! :)

Just another look at my most wonderful Fashion Plates I made.

Here's the other one. If you would like to know how to make these gorgeous Fashion Plates in a pattern of your choosing, just go to my Monday's post
here and I'll tell you all about it!

I love Pink Depression glass and have a bit of it, but could always have more. So I'm on the search for more of this glorious glassware. I'm using these two glasses today. The water glass on the left is very olden. The
stemmed goblet is not. Aren't they just beautiful on a full of
springyness of tables?

Another piece of Pinkness...a sweet little bowl. I could put little butter balls in here or maybe some grape jelly!

This is a dear piece of Pink Depression glass! This was my grandmother's. I have two of these sweet pink trays! I think I'll put my most favorite muffins here - lemon poppy seed! Yummy?

Every table has to have a centerpiece of some kind and being that
springness is in the air - a little creamy colored pitcher filled with tulips are perfect! I love tulips! Can you love tulips! You bet your flower beds you can! I think they are just about the most perfect flower, don't you? Well, these, Dear Ones, did not come from the earth, they're
faux! You know my saying about
faux flowers...I love my
faux flowers and my
faux flowers love me to death! I added the 'to death' because these are my favorites. :)

I wanted to show you the same pitcher of tulips at night. I thought the lighting was really pretty - all yellowy and
springynessly!

Now we must have a bit of candlelight, even at breakfast. So I'm using two little sweet pink candles and they're sitting in my little Candlewick candle holders that were passed down to me from my Dear Auntie!

Just a bit of
seasonings in these cutie
patoodie salt and peppers!

Well, Dear Ones, there you have my
Springyness of
tablescapes! Hope you've enjoyed my
springness!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little
Note Song~
Morning Has Broken
Morning has broken, like the first morning.
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird.
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning,
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word.
Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlight from heaven.
Like the first
dewfall, on the first grass.
Praise for the
sweetnes of the wet garden,
Sprung in completeness where His feet pass.
Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning.
Born of the one light Eden saw play.
Praise with elation, praise every morning;
God's recreation of the new day.
Morning has broken, like the first morning.
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird.
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning,
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word.
~sung by Cat Stevens
