Pink Saturday

Hello, Most Pink Ones, and welcome to Pink Saturday which is hosted by our lovely and Most Pink Beverly at How Sweet the Sound! Thank you, Dear Beverly for doing this for us each week. Please go and visit our Most Wonderful Diva of Pinkness and you'll be able to fill your Saturday with the most beautiful color - Pink!

Now some of you may have seen my Pinkness already. I did use these Pink Depression pieces in my Thursday Tablescape. But since they were so beautifully Pink I thought I'd share them again and I do hope you don't mind.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing some of my Pink Depression glass. If you have any you don't want, you know who to call, and it ain't "Ghostbusters"! :)

Be a bunch of Pink Sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Ghostbusters!

If there's something strange in your neighborhood
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
If there's something weird and it don't look good
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I ain't afraid of no ghost
If you're seeing things running through your head
Who can you call?
Ghostbusters!
An invisible man sleeping in your bed
Oh, who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I ain't afraid of no ghost
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
If you're all alone, pick up the phone
And call
Ghostbusters!
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I hear it likes the girls
I ain't afraid of no ghost
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
If you've had a dose of a freaky ghost
You'd better call
Ghostbusters!
Let me tell you something
Bustin' makes me feel good
I ain't afraid of no ghost
I ain't afraid of no ghost
Don't get caught alone, oh no
Ghostbusters!
When it comes through your door
Unless you just want some more
I think you better call
Ghostbusters!
Ow!
Who you gonna call
Ghostbusters!

  6. My mother had a set of four beautiful, pink depression glass divided plates. She gave them to my brother's second wife, who purposely smashed them when the marriage broke up. sigh

  14. Beautiful pieces. I have mostly green depression ware - just a few pink pieces. I'm told the pink pieces are more rare and valuable.
    Enjoyed your post.

  15. Every time I see your pink depression glass, I regret getting rid of mine. I foolishly thought I needed to down-size the dish cupboard and sold my pink to a friend. Oh well, she enjoys them; and I enjoy looking at yours. Sally

  18. Hi Sheila and Happy Pink Saturday. OH I love your pink depression glass! I have that too and never thought of posting it for Pink Saturday. I'll have to do that sometime! I love all your other posts this week, your chicken sandwhich looks yummy. I love croissants with tuna also. I've never put carrtos in my chicken salad, I'll have to give that a try. Some of my friends here in WV put grapes in theirs but I like mine without them. Maybe the carrots would just the right amount of sweetness. Your Tablescape post was beautiful too, and I'll have to check out Romantic homes on those plates, I must have missed that.
    Bless you, Shirl

  37. OMG---I am Pink with envy over that lovely depression glass of yours! I have one lonely little piece of that amazing stuff--it belonged to my dad's mom (my 'granny'). She had next to nothing. I don't know if she had other pieces, or just the one (a glass), but I treasure it with all my heart! Thank you for sharing yours!

I loved your tablescape and your pillows and that magnificent story about your daddy and that darling doll he gave you! You are so sweet! I know he was so happy to have you as his little girl!
