Pink Saturday

Hello, Dear Pink Ones! Today is another wonderful Pink Saturday which is hosted by our very own Sweet Pink Beverly at How Sweet The Sound. When you go to see our Sweet Pink Beverly, you'll be able to follow the trail of Pink all over the Land of Blog! :)

Today I would like to share with you an item that is very important to me. My life would not be the same without this little gadget!
Gaze upon the lovely Pinkness in my gadget! What is it, you say?
Well, this is just about the most important Pinkness in my kitchen - my little dish scrubber filled with Pink liquid that washes my little dishes spotlessly clean!! This little gadget is very hard working and my right hand man, um, I mean right hand dish scrubber! See how this little baby filled with Pinkness just sucks right up to the sides of my sink? This little gadget filled with Pinkness knows it's place in the kitchen - the sink. Now other colors of dishwashing liquid could grace the inside of my little gadget, but only the Pinkness of liquid will make me pick it up and actually use it. Oh, I've put other colors of liquid into my little gadget - blue, yellow, even orange! But no! I wouldn't touch the little gadget. No no Nannette! Not me! So, if I am to wash the few dishes that do not go into the dishwasher - I must use the liquid of Pinkness. So I have opened up my little Pink heart to you today and shown you my little Pinkness filled treasure in my kitchen!

Don't forget to visit our Most Pink Hostess Beverly!

Be a bunch of Pink sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a Little Note Song~

The Kitchen Sink

Let me tell you what love is for
(he's so polite)
He got a way about him, kinda coy
(his folks alright)
I think he think's that i'm afraid of him
(why should you be?)
There's no place I would rather be:
The kitchen sink

Tie me, tie me, tie me,
To the kitchen sink
Tie me, tie me, tie me,
To the kitchen sink
Tie me, tie me, tie me,
To the kitchen sink

'cause I love him,
(she loves him)
'cause I love him,
(she loves him)

One, two, a one, two, three, four!

Nothing like a modern man
(what? is he clean?)
Stay at home every night if I can
(you must be crazy)
I wanna make him happy
I wanna make him love me
You wanna throw those rose glasses away
(that's what we say)
That's what you say
(that's what we say)
That's what you say
(that's what we say)

Well, I still say
Tie me, tie me, tie me,
To the kitchen sink
Tie me, tie me, tie me,
To the kitchen sink
Tie me, tie me, tie me,
To the kitchen sink

'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why?)
'cause I (why? why? why?)
'cause I love him!

  19. Now, dear Shelia, I have one of those swell gadgets; however, it does not have one of those great sucky things on it and it is filled with (gasping here) GREEN!!!! I have seen the error of my ways and today, while I am at WalMart buying kitty food(gads, why did I save that trip until Saturday?) with every other person in the Eastern part of our county, I will be snatching up a bottle of sudsy Pinkness and looking for that very same device! It must have been a brilliant woman who said "hey, let's put a sucky thing on the end of that gadget!" Brilliant!

Have a great Pink Sat.! Dana

  47. Hi Shiela!! I was happy to see you stopped by! I used to have something similar to this but the sponge on the end would get sooo yucky I just couldn't do dishes with that!(wink)lol This looks like it would really get that hard crusty stuff that forms from waiting too long to do the few like you say that end up in the sink!lol I may have to reconsider now that the pink looks so pretty in there!!! I'm trying to catch up visiting all over the place and not doing too good!lol Have a great week - Sincerely, Jeannette
