Pink Saturday and Awards

Hello Most Pink Ones and welcome again to Pink Saturday. This is the Pinkest day of the week and is hosted by our amazingly Pink Beverly at How Sweet The Sound . Please go by and visit our sweet Pink Beverly and you'll be so Pink and happy to find so many wonderful Pink Ones participating.

Today I would like to share with you my olden Royal Copley daffodil pitcher. The bottom half and handle are the most beautiful Pink color. The top half is a soft buttery yellow. I know it's looks rather white in my photo. You'll just have to trust me. :)
Here's a close up of the daffodils. Aren't they sweet?
The stamp is so olden and wearing off and you can see how age has caused this little pitcher to crackle.
I hope I'm not committing a faux pax by placing sunflowers in a daffodil pitcher!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I want you all to know how lucky and fortunate I consider myself by having met you all! Some of you have been so sweet to pass on some awards to me. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

First of all my sweet friend Monica from Norway has made a special award for visitors to her blog, to which I am one!! If you don't know Monica go pay her a visit and you'll enjoy seeing the gorgeousness of Norway and the similarities we gals have all over the world . By the way, she's got the cutest kitchen you've ever seen! This award she made and passed on is called Friends Around The World. Thank you, Dearest Monica.

Then I was honored with another award from my Dear friend and namesake, only spelled differently :), Sheila! Thank you, my Dear SheLady for being such a wonderful friend!

Oh, I'm so excited! I was even given this precious Sisterhood Award not only by one person but three Sweeties! Yes, I was! Dear Chandy, Dear Bo and Dear Riet all passed this on to me! How I appreciate this with all I have! I truly feel I've made many sisters in Blogland.

Also, Dear Riet, who lives in the Netherlands, also passed on this darling Friends Award to me.
Thank you so much, Dear One!

I know so many of you have these awards, but you can take them again. I hope it is okay that I don't post the rules, but if you come to visit me, please feel free to take the above three awards from me with love.

Now, I want to give out some love and kindness too! Last year I made my own little award to pass on to all you Dear Ones who come to visit me. Please feel free to take my award and know I really do mean - you truly are the song of my heart!

Kiss kiss hug hug :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Build Me Up, Buttercup

Why do you build me up (build me up) Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down (let me down) and mess me around
And then worst of all (worst of all) you never call, baby
When you say you will (say you will) but I love you still
I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up) Buttercup, don't break my heart

"I'll be over at ten" you told me time and again
But you're late, I wait around and then (bah-dah-dah)
I went to the door, I can't take any more
It's not you, you let me down again

(Hey, hey, hey) Baby, baby, try to find
(Hey, hey, hey) A little time and I'll make you happy
(Hey, hey, hey) I'll be home
I'll be beside the phone waiting for you
Ooo-oo-ooo, ooo-oo-ooo

Why do you build me up (build me up) Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down (let me down) and mess me around
And then worst of all (worst of all) you never call, baby
When you say you will (say you will) but I love you still
I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up) Buttercup, don't break my heart

To you I'm a toy but I could be the boy you adore
If you'd just let me know (bah-dah-dah)
Although you're untrue, I'm attracted to you all the more
Why do I need you so

I need you more than anyone, baby
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up) Buttercup, don't break my heart
