Happy Pink Saturday, sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
La Vie En Rose
Hold me close and hold me fast
The magic spell you cast
This is La vie en rose
When you kiss me heaven sighs
And tho I close my eyes
I see La vie en rose
When you press me to your heart
I'm in a world apart
A world where roses bloom
And when you speak...angels sing from above
Everyday words seem...to turn into love songs
Give your heart and soul to me
And life will always be
La vie en rose
~sung by - I don't know :(

ReplyDeleteHi Shelia! What beautiful roses! What a nice gift from your guests! Nothing beats the smell of roses for me. You chose one of my favorite songs. I guess it's the French teacher in me! Edith Piaff did the original in French and Louis Armstrong does a nice version in English, believe it or not! Hope your mom is continuing to improve. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers...Debbie

ReplyDeleteHi Kiddo! Those roses are wonderful--thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteI just read your previous post re your mom's update. I'm glad her arm has already started to mend--OMG the story you shared about her "seeing things" while on that pain med was terrible--and a bit funny. I know it WAS NOT THE LEAST BIT FUNNY as you were trying to get some sleep so you could take her to the doc, but the way you told it--it was humorous.
I know you are over your head busy, but if you have time, come sign up on my post--#100 and I'm having a giveaway!!
Dana
