New Entry Floors and Some Divas!

Oh, Dear Ones!! I have such wonderful news! We have new entry floors! Woo Hoo!! I'm so happy and I want to share this excitement with you! Now you may be used to getting new flooring every day, but I'm not! We've lived in our 1970s home for 11 years now and it was way over due for some changes. Now, let me introduce you to my new entry floor...

New entry floor, please meet all of my wonderful friends from the Land of Blog!

How do you like my Christmas tree? What, you say, you don't see one! That's right! I don't have my tree up! I thought, I'm going to have my tree up before Christmas even if it hair lips every baby in town! Well, you know I don't mean that, it's just a saying! ;) But the way things are going right now, I may not put it up. I'll see if I have the strength! ;) See the nasty yucky carpet on the bottom of the staircase? Part of it has been pulled off and is waiting for newness tomorrow!! Another Whoopee!!
See how pretty the flooring is with the light from the glass doors bouncing all around on it! No, no, Dear Ones, I didn't drop bleach where those little white dots are, that's just the chandy winking at the new floor. You know they are getting to know each other!

Here's a look from upstairs! Oh, don't think I'm the most silliest one, well, I suppose I really am, but I'm just so excited! See, I've been having fun and I didn't even have to do all of the work myself! Stripped wallpaper- I didn't do it! Woo Hoo! Painted walls - I didn't do it! Woo Hoo! New floors - you know I couldn't do this! Woo Hoo! And tomorrow, new carpet ! Woo Hooing Woo Hooing. I know, I'll get over it...just bear with me. :)

Attention! Attention!! We must interrupt this post to bring you the most up to date breaking news! Even during this Christmas season Bathrooms across the Land of Blog are being broken into and folks are snap snap snapping. Well, you know me, The Bathroom Diva, I must attend to my Bathroom business...right here and now!!

Most Tired From Decorating Ones, please pass me my toilet brush. Thank you, Darlings, you can remove the tinsel from your hair. Let's see, do we have an impostor or do we have a true Diva here? Oh, Most What Is Going On Ones, we have a wee little one here (don't you just love my pun? I'm so creative!). I'm not so sure she is very pleased in this bathroom, do you think she is, Scratching Your Head Ones?
Now, Most Concerned Ones, I'm sure no little ones were hurt during this snap! I just think there may have been a problem. First, let me check for absolute Divaship...I see the most creamyness of complexions, beautiful hair just filled to the brim with bathroom highlights, precious little dainty arms with hands and creamy little fingers attached...but, alas, Most Shocked Ones, no camera! Now how did this little one achieve this?

Just one moment, Most Wondering Ones, I've just been handed an update. This little wee one belongs to our own Bathroom Diva Melissa at http://missy-thingsinlife.blogspot.com/ and she had a fear of the self flushing toilet and would not for anything sit down on this throne! So this is the distress we see in her gorgeous little face! Most Astonished Ones, this little one deserves to become a Bathroom Diva! Yes, she does!! Mommy, just don't take darling daughter back to these scary suck you up toilets ever again!

What's this, Trying To Get Away From Me Ones? I think we've just had another Bathroom invasion! Yes, yes, that's what's happened. Now you know me, I will never let you down so on with my Bathroom Business...
Oh, what a gorgeous one I see! Please Dear Ones, I think we're in an airplane Bathroom, don't you? Okay, here I go...I do see the most creamyness of complexions, the pearliest of whites, the most twinkling peepers, hair filled to the brim with bathroom highlights, dainty slender arms and creamy fingers attached to a CAMERA! Yes, yes! We have an official Bathroom Beauty Snapper! Hey, wait a minute...does this lovely one have my pink camera! I think she does!! How did she do...well, I suppose she just happens to have one like mine. You know I can get carried away. Okay, to finish my Bathroom business...
Oh, look, Shaking Your Christmas Heads Ones, this most gorgeous one has snapped again just for us! She is everything a Bathroom Diva should be. You know most of the time one snap is just not enough! Do we know this wonderful one? Of course we do, this is Claudie at http://web.me.com/claudiefrid/Claudie/Claudies_Blog/Claudies_Blog.html

I'm thrilled at this special time of year to crown these most beautiful ones...wait! Wait just a minute!
What's this? Another Bathroom snap! Oh, Most Helpful Ones, I must sit down just a minute to catch my breath. This is so exciting for me, you just don't know! Oh, no! Why didn't you tell me the lid was up? I dropped my mike! Could you just reach in there, yes, right there and get it please for me? No, no, I don't put my hand in...hee hee, uh, you didn't hear that did you? Oh never mind. Now this is very unusual. This most gorgeous one, I know, I know, you can't see her face, but I know her and I'm sure most of you do. She is beautiful ~ I've seen her. She has the most creamyness of complexions and her beautiful locks are just filled with Bathroom highlights! Now she snapped in a bathroom to show us her pretty blouse, but I thought it would be perfectly correct to steal, um I mean borrow her picture and crown her as a Diva, even without her permission. Is this legal, Most Learned Ones? I hope so. I must tell you, this is our own Liz, minus her lovely head, from http://www.blogger.com/mabelsblog@yahoo.com .

Okay, here I go! Most gorgeous ones...Melissa's little darling daughter, Claudie and headless gorgeous Liz, I now crown you with the most sought after and desired title in Blogland ~ Daring Darling Bathroom Beauty Snapping Divas! You are now one and shall be one for ever and ever and until the twelfth of never! Now go and Diva!

If you would love to join this most distinguished groups of snappers, just invade a bathroom of your choice and snap your little picture, oh make sure you turn off your flash, post your picture on your blog or either email it to me. I will post you here and give you what you deserve! Don't be afraid, I've Always Wanted To Do This Ones! It's easy and it's fun. You'll never really be fulfilled in your life until you do this. So snap snap snap on! You can do it!!

********************************

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

I'm So Excited!

Tonight's the night,
Tonight we're gonna.
Tonight's the night,
Tonight we're gonna.
Tonight's the night,
Tonight we're gonna.
Tonight's the night,
Tonight we're gonna.
Tonight's the night we're gonna make it happen
(Tonight we're gonna.)
Tonight we'll put all other things aside
(Tonight we're gonna gonna gonna.)
Give in this time and show me some affection
(Give in and show us some.)
We're going for those pleasures in the night
(Tonight, tonight.)
I want to love you, feel you,
Wrap myself around you.
I want to squeeze you, please you,
I just can't get enough.
And if you move real slow, I'll let it go
I'm so excited, I just can't hide it,
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it.
I'm so excited, I just can't hide it,
I know, I know, I know, I want to.
(I know, I know, I know, I want to.
I know, I know, I know, I want to.
I know, I know, I know, I want to.)

We shouldn't even think about tomorrow
(I know, I know, I know.)
Sweet memories will last a long long time
(I know, I know, I know.)
We'll have a good time baby don't you worry
(I know, I know.)
And if we're still hangin' around well that's just fine.
Let's get excited,
(Look what you do to me,)
That we just can't hide it.
(You've got me burnin' up.)
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it.
I'm so excited,
(How did you get to me?)
I just can't hide it
(How bout you give it up?)
I know, I know, I know, I want you, I want you.
I want to love you, feel you,
Wrap myself around you.
I want to squeeze you, please you,
I just can't get enough.
And if you move real slow, I'll let it go

I'm so excited
(Look what you do to me)
I just can't hide it,
(You've got me burning up)
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it,
I'm so excited,
(Look what you do to me)
I just can't hide it
(Why wont you give it up?)
And I know, I know, I know, I want you, I want you.
Look what you do to me,
Look what you do to me,
Look what you do to me,
Look what you do to me,

I'm so excited
(Look what you do to me)
I just can't hide it,
(You've got me burning up)
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it,
I'm so excited,
(How did you get to me?)
I just can't hide it
(How bout you give it up?)
And I know, I know, I know, I want you, I want you.

  1. You are now the Official Queen of Floors--particularly Sparkling Floors! I am so happy for your little tired feet--you know, the ones you were stamping because your floor wasn't done?

Enjoy a dance on that floor.

    BTW: which gift is mine?

  10. What?!?!?!? New floors you say??? Okay okay, I'm jealous, but my entry is no where near the size of yours, sweetpea! Love Bunny is going to put in tile in our small area. I told him I can only tolerate one "redo" at a time so it'll have to wait until the rest of the house is painted PINKKKKK!! and he's agreed. But I'm taking a break until after the first of the year. Yikes, is it 2009 yet?!?!

  25. You used a little cleaner version than the one I heard growing up. I always heard "if it harelips he double l. See what I mean. I don't think I would really like to mess with the Devil.
Sorry I am so late to the party. The OTC medicine I'm taking for this crapola I've had the past few weeks, makes me sleep. I guess that's good, since that is when the body heals itself, but it really puts a drag on your plans. It's nothing but Robitussin DM and Mucinex, but that's all that could be making me so sleepy all the time.
Your entry looks splendiferous. I hope they got your carpet laid today.
