Hello Dear Ones and welcome to Blue Monday created and hosted by our Sally at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/. Make sure you visit Sally today and you'll see lots of Blue!
I was out poodling around and went into Hobby Lobby and saw this almost life sized Nativity hanging on the wall! I thought it was so very beautiful and asked the cashier if I could take a picture! The background is a dark blue felt and there is lots of blue in the clothing! I wanted to share this scene with you because this is what Christmas is really all about - Jesus' birth! The true meaning of the season! Happy Blue Monday!

Well, on the note of spiritual things...I'm very busy in my church and among other things, I'm the editor of our monthly church newsletter. I'll bet you think I use sweetness and precious all over our newsletter, don't you? I really don't do that! :) Well, I was copying, printing and putting the newsletter together and went to the ladies' room. A small blue light blue bulb went off in my tiny head and I thought "Beauty Snapping!" You know I use every opportunity possible to snap - so I snapped for Jesus! Yep, right here in my church's ladies' room I snapped! I certainly hope I haven't offended anyone. You see, I know God very well and His son, Jesus, is a very good friend of mine! He loves my silliness! I hope you do too!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Happy Birthday, Jesus
Happy Birthday, Jesus
I'm so glad it's Christmas
All the tinsel and lights
And the presents are nice
But the real gift is you
Happy Birthday Jesus
I'm so glad it's Chrsitmas
All the carols and bells
Make the holiday swell
And it's all about You
Happy Birthdy Jesus
Jesus, I love You.

ReplyDeleteShelia, I'm almost positive that your guardian angel flies up to Heaven at the end of a busy day watching over you, shakes his/her head, and says to the other angels "You won't BELIEVE what she did today!!"
