I know it's after Halloween, but I think ghosts live here...

So many of you have commented on the beautiful music playing in the background. I am advertising for a wonderful "Somewhere In Time" party that will be hosted by Jan at jan and tom's place on November 10th. If you love this old movie, please come to the party!

*********************************
Okay, I know it's after Halloween, but I think something scary is going on here in my entry.

Look at these walls! How scary is this? What is happening here?

Even the furniture is covered up with old sheets in the dining room. This is pretty scary - like an old horror movie!

Look at the walls! Is this The Amityville Horror?

Who covered up my little chair with plastic? Mr. Precious! Mr. Precious!

These scary walls just go on and on! Is anybody there?

Look! Are ghosts going to rise up from under these sheets? Hey! I use that blue one!

Hallelujah! At least the light works. Uh uh! I'm not going up those stairs!

My precious piano! Who did this? This is where I sit and play you my little Note Songs and someone or something has covered it up! Now I'm really feeling the heebie jeebies!!

Well, if you'll stay really close behind me, I'll go up these stairs, but no way! I'm not going down the hall! Did you hear something?! Chloe Dawn, is that you!!??

Please stay tuned for the next espisode...

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
In Our Haunted House

Please come in
You're welcome here
Mind the the cobwebs and the bones
May we invite you to spend the night?
Make yourself at home.
Step this way...
Here's the living room,
Though dead room is actually more correct
Cause there hasn't been a living soul here
Since grandpa broke his neck.
In our haunted house,
we'll treat you like one of us.
But in our haunted house,
That could be hazardous.
Browse around the kitchen,
Have a spoon, a fork, a knife.
You must excuse those ketchup stains,
we ate someone last night.
Here is your big bedroom, dears,
You'll love the creaky bed.
You'll sleep just fine, but when you wake,
You may still feel half dead.
In our haunted house,
the butler is a ghost.
The upstairs maid's been buried for years,
And the chauffeur's comatose.
In our haunted house,
our hospitality,
is something of which we're very proud...
Oh, do you take poison in your tea?
Don't let the spiderwebs mess up your hair,
Don't mind the piano playing with no one there.
The crumbling bookshelves covered with dust,
One or two headless bodies...what's all the fuss?
The dreadful pounding,
the screams and moans,
It's just a typical
night at home.
In our haunted house,
Things float through the wall
You might see sights that chill the soul,
Be sure to wear a shawl.
We'd love you to come in,
Stay awhile and play.
Once you finally settle in,
You'll never go away...
We'll make sure of that.
In our haunted house

  1. Morning Sheila,

I'm always up for a little scare! When you're finished I could use a little help up here in Minnesota at my house, it looks like you know what you're doing! :)

    A great day to you!
    Hugs,
    Kathi :)

  2. Now that's either going to take a lot of paint or a lot of wallpaper. And a TALL ladder!! Can't wait to see which it is.

I'm going to come to the Somewhere In Time party. I was in high school when that movie came out. I remember absolutely bawling!

  29. Well it looks like the ghost of a wallpaper stripper came to your home and took all the paper off the walls. I wish I was haunted by a painter ghost that would come in and do the job.

Can't wait to see what that ghost has been up to, at least its a thoughtful one that covers the furniture up.
