Today I would like to show you one of my teapots. This is a Currier and Ives blue and white teapot by Royal China. I've had this for many years along with so many of the dishes which I've collected for over 20 years.
Hope you like my little blue and white Currier and Ives teapot! I certainly do and will glady service you some tea from it anytime you want to pop in for a visit!
Now go on over to Sally's and check out the Blue!!
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
"No Sugar Tonite"
No sugar tonight in my coffee
No sugar tonight in my tea
No sugar to stand beside me
No sugar to run with me
~ sung by The Guess Who (abbreviated version ;)

ReplyDeleteI love your teapot. In all my currier and ives things I don't have a teapot, but I have the sugar and creamer set. Two of them I think. But the picture is not the same as yours. Actually each thing has a different picture. I just checked. May have to do a blue post on the sugar and creamer set.

ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE it! It is so beautiful. I am afraid that I am coveting over your lovely little teapot. But then, since having a hubby in the Coast Guard, I have a thing for lighthouses and ocean motives.

Good afternoon Sheila,
ReplyDeleteI just love your little teapot. I can see why you love it so much. It has blue for the ocean, ships, even a lighthouse, and there you are living so close to the sea. Very beautiful. Happy Blue Monday!
What a beautful teapot. I love sitting down to real afternoon teas with cups and saucers and teapots. Usually I have them stored in the cupboard but lately I have been taking them out and using them far more often. Love the design too - its quite unusual. the colour blue always reminds me of the sea too. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday to you, dear Shelia!
