Hi, and welcome to another Tea Party with Jan at http://jt-jantom.blogspot.com/
I thought I would show you a Christmas Tea I hosted for the ladies of my church. That year I prepared all of the food and goodies and of course the tea.
I thought I would show you a Christmas Tea I hosted for the ladies of my church. That year I prepared all of the food and goodies and of course the tea.
I'm also combining Blue Monday that is hosted by Sally at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ because I'm showing so blue in my tea party!!

Smoked Salmon Cracker Spread
Ingredients:
3 (8 oz) Cream Cheese, Softened 1 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. Lemon Juice 2 tsp finely chopped onion - or more
3 tsp Liquid Smoke 3 tsp Prepared Horse-Radish
1 (12 oz) can of Salmon, drained and flaked (I don't use the entire can, maybe only half ~ but if you really like a strong taste of Salmon, use the entire can)
Chopped Pecans and Fresh Parsley for garnish Crackers
***********************
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese at medium speed, scraping bowl often until light and fluffy ~ 2 -3 minutes. By hand, stir in salmon and the rest of the ingredients. Spoon into serving bowl, garnish with pecans and parsley. Serve with crackers. Store in fridge.
If you want to be creative you can mold this into different shapes using your hands. I've formed it into a fish shape before and a bell for Christmas. It is dense and will hold it's shape. I hope you enjoy it!
I hope you've enjoyed coming to my Christmas Tea! I so enjoyed having you. Pop on over to Jan's to see more teaness!!
**************************************
Attention! Attention!! I just get one cup of tea down my little throat and I'm handed this news bulletin! Folks, it's happened again! It seems nothing can stop these bathroom invasions! There has never in the history of the world been anything like this. These bathroom snappers are just like the energizer bunny...they keep snapping and snapping and snapping...
Okay, Dear Astonished Ones...on with my bathroom business...

Oh Janness!! Lovely one, you have chosen to join us Divas. Now just sit quietly for a moment and you'll get what you so deserve!
But first...
Dearest of Bathroom Ones, we have another lovely one. As I've said in the past, there are imposters out there and we do not tolerate them. No no Nannette! So, on with my BB ~ that's Diva talk for Bathroom Business. This lovely one does posses the peaches and most creamyness of complexsions, hair is so beautifully styled, beautiful smile with the pearliness of teeth, dressed ever so smartly and yes, I see those lovely daintyness of arms with the precious creamyness of fingers clasping a CAMERA! Oh, Dear Marveling Ones, we have another Bathroom Diva!! Woo Hoo!! Do we know her? Let me look a little closer...yes, this is Kathy at http://mimisgarden.blogspot.com/. Oh, Kathy, we are so thrilled you've decided to join us Divas too!

Okay, how does my hair look? Oh, just a minute, I need to reapply my lipstick! Okay...ahem...Jan and Kathy, I am about to crown you two lovelies with the most sought after, the most elegantness and the most fabulous title in the world! Many have tried and failed to obtain this, many have missed the mark, but not you, Dear Bathroom Ones! I now bestow upon you the title Daring Darling Bathroom Beauty Snapping Diva. You will be Divas for ever and ever and until the twelfth of never! Now go forth and Diva the world!
Oh, this is such a fulfilling part of my life. You do not know the excitement of becoming a Bathroom Diva unless you try!! That's right, Dear Scared Ones...many others, just like you, were scared to enter the bathroom with their cameras and snap away. You see it can be done, it has been done and it will continue to be done. Do Not Put This Off!!! Come join the Divas!!
Snap on and on and on, Dear Dear Daring Darling Bathroom Beautfy Snappers!
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
I Only Have Eyes For You
My love must be a kind of blind love
I can't see anyone but you.
Are the stars out tonight?
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright
I Only Have Eyes For You, Dear.
The moon maybe high
but I can't see a thing in the sky,
'Cause I Only Have Eyes For You.
I don't know if we're in a garden,
or on a crowded avenue.
You are here
So am I
Maybe millions of people go by,
but they all disappear from view.
And I Only Have Eyes For You.
Your tea party looks wonderful and the mantle is beautiful. I like to play too!

Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteYes, Yes, Yes...definitely we are having Tablescape Tuesday! :-) I mentioned it in the last couple of days post. I know Gollum will be posting a tablescape but I haven't heard from others. I just had my eyes dilated so can't see well, but I'll come back this evening when my eyes are normal again and read your blog! :-) I don't know how to get the word out...don't think I'm doing the best job of letting folks know about Tablescape Tuesday. Thanks,
Susan
