I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Look Through Any Window
Look through any window, yeah
What do you see
Smiling faces all around
Rushing through the busy town
Where do they go
Moving on their way
Walkin' down the highways and the byways
Where do they go
Moving on their way
People with their shy ways, and their sly ways
Oh, You can see the little children all around
Oh, You can see the little ladies in their gowns, when youLook through any window, yeah
Any time of day
See the drivers on the roads
Button down their heavy loads
Where do they go
Moving on their way
A driving down the highways, and the byways
Where do they go
Moving on their way
Drivers with their shy ways, and their sly ways
Oh, You can see the little children all around
Oh, You can see the little ladies in their gowns, when you
Look through any window, yeah
What do you see
Smiling faces all around
Rushing through the busy town
Where do they go
Moving on their way
Moving on their way
~ sung by the Hollies

ReplyDeleteLooks like all is back to normal for you and I too LOVE blinds. I am glad your windows aren't nekked now!!!...lol
So glad you are back!!
Beautiful Shelia! But then, everything you do is...LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI would certainly LOVE to hear about how things are at home since IKE, if this is the REAL LIVE Shelia and not the "PRE-POST" Shelia.

Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful home! I love the color of the walls...some in my house are the same color.
Good to see you back posting again! I've worried about you.

I'm sure these are pre-made posts now. I'm getting concerned now and wish this was Shelia, but there is no way she wouldn't answer emails or these messages.
ReplyDeleteWe all love you Shelia and wherever you are, I hope you're safe!!!
(((hugs and love))))

I agree ,it is not like you to not answer comments. I surely do hope you are not having to endure anything unbearable. I miss you dear. Praying for you.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your new blinds. We have a company here in our town called "The Blind Lady"
Welcome back. I'm glad things seem to be just fine your way.
ReplyDeleteThe blinds look good. The blindman did a great job and now you have some privacy and the windows are not nekked. Chloe seems to approve too.

ReplyDeleteDear Shelia -

Dear Shelia, please know that many people are praying for you. I check your blog a couple of times a day, and find myself thinking of you each day and wondering what you may be facing. I keep reading news reports about the damage suffered by Galveston and can't help but feel great concern for the condition of your lovely home. If something serious has happened, please know that God and all of your friends here are with you.
ReplyDeleteRemember Psalm 30.5: "weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning"
During the darkest moments, remember Dietrich Bonhoeffer's wonderful poem:
By gracious powers so wonderfully sheltered,
and confidently waiting come what may,
we know that God is with us night and morning,
and never fails to greet us each new day.
Yet is this heart by its old foe tormented,
still evil days bring burdens hard to bear;
Oh, give our frightened souls the sure salvation
for which, O Lord, You taught us to prepare.
And when this cup You give is filled to brimming
with bitter suffering, hard to understand,
we take it thankfully and without trembling,
out of so good and so beloved a hand.
Yet when again in this same world You give us
the joy we had, the brightness of Your Sun,
we shall remember all the days we lived through,
and our whole life shall then be Yours alone.
