Pink Saturday in the Kitchen

Good morning, Dear Ones and welcome to Pink Saturday that is hosted by our ever so sweet Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ Make sure you go visit her and you can see all the gals participating in this Saturday Pinkness.

Well, I thought I would have my Pink Saturday in the kitchen this week. So let's see what I can come up with. Oh, look at the beautiful pinkness of my dishwashing liquid! Isn't it just glorious sitting here in the sunshine?

Oh, and if you're like me, a nicely scented candle always gets me in the mood for dishwashing. Almost always.

Hmmmm...smell the pinkness?
Now, I don't want you to miss the precious little embroidered flower on the corner of my napkin. In pink, or course!
Look, I have a great pink cook book, too!
Here's a couple of recipes with pinkness all over them!

I just love this little recipe file and guess what? It has pink shutters on the windows!

See, there's even a pink recipe card inside! Oh, the soup is not pink, but it sure is good!

I do love this little sweet bowl with pink flowers! Can you love bowls? Sure if they have pink on them!

Now some of you may keep your medicines in your bathroom, but not at this house! Meds are kept in a special drawer in the kitchen. Now, let's see...oh, here is some wonderful pink calcium with a pink label for my pink bones to be so strong!
Feeling a little sniffly or allergied? Here, let me offer you some benadryl Wal Mart style - pink label and of course pink pills!
Can you guess what this beautiful pink concoction is? You take it when your pink tummy is upset and is rolling around in your sweet pink body!

Okay, enough with the medicines, let's look in the freezer! Yummy, good ole frozen strawberries in all of their pink glory!

Here is some frozen pink ham...hmmm...maybe I ought to toss this out. I think the pinkness has freezer burn.

This is fun! Now on to the pantry...sweet sweet powdered sugar is celebrating in lovely pinkness!
Jello - pink again!
There are some pink flowers on the breakfast room table. Well, they're just mixed in with the other ones. See?
Bunny Foo Foo has some beautiful pink in the print of her dress. Yes, darling, you look beautiful!
uh oh...
Look who has to get in on Pink Saturday...Miss Chloe Dawn! Okay, sweetness, show Mommy what you have. Oh, it's her Pink Peep. You know the little marshmallow candies at Easter time in the shape of rabbits and chicks? Well, this is a stuffed chickie I bought Chloe Dawn and she just loves it!
Smile for Mommy, Chloe Dawn, and I'll take your pretty pink picture! She is such a pink poser, don't you think?
Hope you've enjoyed being PINK with me today!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Another Saturday Night

Another Saturday night and I ain’t got nobody
I’ve got some money cause I just got paid
How I wish I had someone to talk to
I’m in an awful way

  1. That was a lovely pink tour this morning. I'm afraid the only dish detergent that I use is Dawn and so far they haven't made it in pink. I've got the same lovely pink bottle of Caltrate LOL!

I am hungry this morning, and your kitchen tour has made me want to go make myself something to eat!

    Happy Pink Saturday!

  6. Happy Pink Saturday in the kitchen, Shelia.

I have pink dishwashing liquid, too. Mine is pink grapefruit Sunlight. It is hard to find around here, so when I do find it, I buy all they have. If you looked in my pantry, you would swear I hoard it.

I laughed at Dot because the first thing I thought of was a denture dish, too. My grandmother had one, but I don't know if it was pink. ;-). And, any good pink show must include pink Pepto.

  8. Hi Sheila,

I love your "pinkness", especially that belonging to Chloe Dawn.

Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. This has been a really difficult few weeks. We have felt the arms of God around us and know that so much of it came from everyone's prayers.

    many hugs,

  24. Hi dear Lynne. RMS won't let me come and reply to you! They need to get their business fixed. It's too hard anymore to even look at things, much less try to visit my sweet friend. Thanks for popping in. Don't you just love that glass basket? We found it a couple years ago in New Orleans and I had to have it.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia :)
