Great Is His Faithfulness

I took this photo of the sun rising Friday morning and just thought to myself how God's mercy is new every day just like the sunrise. No matter what we've done, He offers His forgiveness. I fall so short of being the Christian I know I should be, but I can depend completely on God's faithfulness to me. I'm just me, I mess up, I seldom change, I break my promises, stumble...but my God loves me and His faithfulness never lets me go!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness,
O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not,
Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been,
Thou forever will be.
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

    What a gorgeous reminder of the handiwork of our God! I love the Scripture and this song that remind us that He is ever faithful to us. So glad His mercies are new every morning - they never run out. Always fresh.

  10. It's my day to be late posting and getting around to my friends.
    Your photo is beautiful! I love when the rays of sun stream down through the clouds like that. It is such a beautiful reminder that we are being watched over.
    I think that we all feel we fall short of being the person that God wants us to be. All we can do is keep trying and rely on that forgiveness, mercy and love to get us through. I too am so thankful for the love and blessings that I am blessed with in my life that I know I don't deserve.
    *hugs*
